Create a simple website for Christmas on Amazon S3 bucket

With another Christmas season coming, VTI Cloud wishes everyone a merry and happy Christmas. To make the Christmas atmosphere more bustling, VTI Cloud would like to send everyone a way to create a simple website on Amazon S3 to send greetings to relatives and loved ones.

Dependencies:

Have an account that accesses the AWS console and has permission to create an S3 bucket.
Own or Create the source code for your website. This article’s topic is: “Merry Christmas”.

Create S3 bucket on Amazon S3

Step 1: Access AWS Management Console → go to Amazon S3 → select Create bucket → type new Bucket Name, uncheck Block all public access → select Create bucket.

Step 2: In the created bucket, go to bucket → select tab Properties.

Step 3: Scroll down to Static website hosting → select Edit → select Enable → select Host a static website → in Index document, type index.html → In Error document, type error.html or whatever name (this entry we don’t use so we just enter it to be valid) → finally, select Save changes.

Step 1: After saving, we will see the access link to our website, remember to copy this link for later access.

Step 2: Roll back to Objects and select Upload to upload all files of your static website.

Step 3: Next we select all the files → select Actions → select Actions → select Make public.

Enjoy the results! Easy to create a simple website within minutes.
